Meet your Instructor!

Meet Karen, the creative force behind our captivating pottery workshops!

Her journey as a skilled and multifaceted artist began decades ago when she first studied as a graphic designer. When her daughter was born in the 90's she decided to start giving pottery classes to children as a means to work from home. She continued to do so for more than 10 years.

She eventually moved on to teaching where her primary field was teaching art to primary school children. During her time as a teacher she also completed her master's degree in Design Thinking.

After retirement she simply could not be expected to sit still and 'enjoy' retirement. She did what any artist does; she continued making art and sharing her talents and knowlege with others. This was the beginning of KR·Create·Pottery.

Appart from also being an avid mountain biker she teaches pottery workshops and classes to both adults and children.

With her evolution as an artist and the rich tapestry of experiences that have shaped her profound understanding of the craft she brings a wealth of insights and inspiration to each workshop to make it a fun an memorable experience for all who attend!
